Our Mission
Our mission is to beautify and revitalize the Wanaque Avenue Business
District. We will be utilizing local, county, state and federal grant money. We
believe that a more pleasant and attractive business district begins with a working
partnership with local municipal officials and members of the business district.
Our Plan
This was written in 2003 and I still believe it will provide the
necessary incentive for business owners to improve and upgrade their
properties.
I suggest providing a financial incentive for merchants and property owners
to renovate and improve their buildings and businesses. This will be accomplished
through a proposal for Local Economic Redevelopment Tax Abatement (LERTA).
